Miss Martha Flanagan and Miss Annie Koppe, of Bakerton, visited the former’s brother, Mr. Walter J. Flanagan, at Strasburg, Va., and also paid a visit to friends in Winchester the past week.

African Missionaries visit Flanagans
Mr. B. F. Dreisback, of Columbus, Ohio, his sister, Mrs. T. W. Woodside, and son Wilfred, of Bilunda, West Central Africa, spent the past several days with their cousin, Mrs. Bertha D. Flanagan, at Rock Hill, in the county. Mrs. Woodside and her husband have spent twenty-three years of their life in Africa as missionaries, coming back to the States only to place their four children in schools.

Moler visits sisters in city
Master Ralph Moler, son of Geo. W. Moler, of this vicinity, is visiting his sister, Mrs. John Flanagan, in Baltimore. He will also visit his sister, Mrs. G. W. Moler, in Washington. He will be in the two cities about a month.

Eleven Men Sank
Sharpsburg News. While crossing the river near Mountain Lock last Saturday evening the boat in which were eleven men sank, and several of the number came near drowning, being unable to swim. Some of them belong to this town and are working at the Bakerton lime works.

Stray Horse at Flanagan Farm

Circuit Court, May 1911 Term
The regular May term of the Circuit Court for Jefferson county began in Charles Town on Tuesday, with Judge E. Boyd Faulkner on the bench. Permission was given to Frank L. Bushong, guardian of John G. Flannagan, infant, to expend certain sums for the improvement of the William Engle farm and the F. M. Moler farm, owned by the late John G. Flanagan, near Bakerton.

Flanagans Move To Baltimore
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Flanagan and their little son, of Bakerton, made a pleasant call at the Register office last Saturday. They expect to remove to Baltimore in about a month.
