Many families have not one individual in them able to attend upon the sick. It is fortunate that the deaths bear no proportion to the diseases. Several, however, have died; among whom are John Potter, a young man; Samuel Bell, a visitor to his relations at Shepherdstown; Thomas S. Bennett, merchant; two children of Charles Cameron, brought sick from Harper&#8217;s Ferry, and died within twenty minutes of each other; Richard Moran, plaisterer, from Georgetown, D.
