Mr. Thos. B. Welsh has bought of Mr. Jas. S. Flanagan an acre of ground, for which he paid $80 cash. It is situated a half mile south of Bakerton and about four miles this side of Harper’s Ferry. The boss carpenters, Boxwell, Derr and Ronemous, have now completed quite a handsome little house upon it, and have now left Mr. John Garmon, the first-class plasterer, stone-mason, and bricklayer, of New York, to complete his work, which will be finished within a week ready for service.
