Came Here to Wed.
Mr. John P. Thompson, a young carpenter residing at Bakerton, Md., who was at the Berkeley several days, was met there Thursday by Miss Emma Erickson, daughter of Olaf Erickson, who came all the way from Stromsburg, Nebraska to marry him. The ceremony was performed in the hotel parlor in the afternoon at four o’clock by Rev. S. G. Ferguson, pastor of the M. E. Church, South.
