Mr. John Hyland, a well-known citizen of Harper’s Ferry, died in Providence Hospital, Washington City, on Friday last. The deceased was an active, earnest Democrat, and during the late war was a gallant Confederate solider, of Imboden’s Brigade. His remains were brought to Harper’s Ferry and interred on Sunday in the Catholic Cemetery, of which church he was a zealous member.
