COUNTY MAN IS HELD FOR COURT.
Charles L. Sweeney, Dargan, Caught With Still Near Bakerton.

Charles L. Sweeney, Dargan section, who was arrested Tuesday by Federal agents for operation of a moonshine still across the Potomac near Bakerton, directly opposite Frog Hollow, was ordered held yesterday for the action of the Clarksburg, W. Va. term of Federal court when arraigned before U. S. Commissioner H. Marshall Homer.

Bond was fixed at $1,500 and Sweeney went to jail in default.

Sweeney was said to have been operating a 100-gallon still rather cleverly camoflaged with fodder when agents appeared on the scene. Four barrels of mash and ten gallons of alleged moonshine whiskey were seized and destroyed.
