John Moore, of Sample’s Manor, who works at the Bakerton lime plant, had a trying day of it last Wednesday. He was first struck on the head by a flying stone from a blast, which caused him to become faint. Later he thought that he felt strong enough to walk, and started, when he fell before a descending truck, which ran over him and caused a double fracture of his leg.
