INDIAN KNIFE FOUND.
John Houser, who is employed at the West Virginia Ore Bank, near Harper’s Ferry, found last week a large, stone Indian knife, about 15 inches long, and some small Indian relics among the stones near the mines.

Death Notice: Infant Bowers
The young child of Thomas and Della Bowers, living at the Virginia Ore Bank, seven miles south of Sharpsburg, died Wednesday of brain fever, aged 4 years. Funeral Thursday 2 p. m.; services in the Winebrennerian church by Rev. A. A. Kerlin; interment in Mountain View Cemetery.

The Earth Caved in on Him.
A young man named Marshall, from Sharpsburg, was pretty badly hurt last Monday at the Virginia ore bank, near Bakerton, Jefferson county, W. Va. He was at work getting out ore when a bank of earth caved in on him and bruised him very badly about the head and body.
