The pupils from the Bakerton school who were neither absent nor tardy during the term are Martha Welsh, Essie Welsh, Laura Hopper, Janie Moore, Edith Geary, William Link, Strauther Moler, and Harvey Kidwiler. Those who deserve special mention are Essie and Martha Welsh and Laura Hopper, who made every day in three years, and William Link, who has not missed a day in five years, and has been tardy but once.

Widowed Flanagan Returns Home
Mrs. Bertha D. Flanagan, who spent a part of the past year in Shepherdstown, has returned to her country home near Bakerton.

Flanagan Stable Destroyed By Fire
A stable on Mrs. Bertha Flanagan’s place near Bakerton, tenanted by Harry Trussell, was destroyed by fire last Saturday, together with its contents. Mr. Trussell has no idea how it caught afire.

Flanagan Yields 60lb Butter
During the month of February three cows belonging to James Flanagan, of Bakerton, yielded 68 pounds of butter, besides feeding two calves and providing milk for a pet lamb. This is a pretty good record.
