We understand that the water has been let into the Canal, from Harpers-Ferry to the Point of Rocks. This, probably, is by way of experiment. No having been able to visit the work, we can only speak from hearsay; but we presume the Engineer will, in a short time, give official notice of the readiness of this part of the Canal to resolve boats.
