Mr. John Houser died on Saturday evening in the 61st year of his age, at his home at the West Virginia ore-bank, near Bakerton. His funeral took place in the Samples Manor Winebrennerian church Monday, the body having been conveyed across the river by boat. Rev. M. K. Cross officiated. Four weeks ago last Sunday the deceased was baptized in the Potomac river by Rev. Cross.
