While filling in a break at Dam No. 4 last week the Italians dug up three human skeletons, the entire frames being perfectly preserved. After examination by the bystanders, the bones were pitched on the piles of dirt and were afterward shoveled in the break. The skeletons are supposed to be the remains of three cholera victims, which epidemic had been raging with ful force in that vicinity at the time of the building of the canal.
