A new iron bridge is to be built across Rattlesnake run at the old Hoffman mill, along the river road, below Shepherdstown, and the contract has been let to Walker Bros., of Charles Town, at $380. Our efficient road surveyor, James M. Hendricks, recommended the improvement to the county court, and the new bridge will be constructed at once. Mr. Hendricks is an up-to-date road man.
