Charlestown, W. Va., Oct. 22 — In the Circuit Court here yesterday Judge Faulkner sentenced John Shipley to 18 months in the West Virginia Penitentiary for committing a felonious assult on John Moore, superintendent of the Virginia Ore Bank near Bakerton. Shipley claimed that his home was in Howard county, Maryland.
