We learn by a letter from Washington, dated 16th March, that Cox, who recently shot Col. Dunn, superintendent of the public armory at Harpers’ ferry, has recently made a confession, in which he has implicated seven other persons in that shocking crime. Cox says they drew lots to see who should commit the murder, and they told him that it fell on him. Four of the accused persons have been arrested, and are in prison. The names of all the seven individuals are mentioned; but no advantage would result from their publicity. — Journal
