Mr. Benjamin Shewbridge, a bridge carpenter on the B. & O. R. R., was thrown from the platform of a car on the Winchester Accomodation train by a sudden lurch in turning a curve near Harper’s Ferry, last Friday, and was cut and mangled in a very shocking manner–both arms broken, one leg deeply cut, his head cut, &c.
