Bakerton Lightning. A dizzy story is reported from Bakerton, and though we tell the tale as ‘twas told to us we don’t guarantee the facts. The yarn is that one day last week during a storm that passed over that section, Albert Moler got the better of a stroke of lightning. He was standing under a shed during the storm when the lightning made a jab at him and struck him amidship, but instead of hurting him contented itself with tearing the buttons off of his trousers. The buttons were metal, and attracted the electricity with this singular result. The story failed to state was became of the buttons.
