Bakerton News — Assessor T. O. Link was around collecting the annual capitation tax yesterday. Several of his victims were heard to say that they were very glad they were not called upon to pay the bachelor tax, which rumor says has been levied in some of the other States, and threatens to attain popularity of another national drive or even to assume the proportions of another constitutional amendment.
