The Drought Broken. The heaviest rain that has fallen in this section for many months prevailed last Sunday night. It was very welcome, for had freezing weather set in with the streams so low the water question might have been a serious one. All the streams were replenished and the Potomac river got higher than it has been since last spring. High winds followed the rain and the weather got cooler.
